How soon does Braxton hicks start normally?

I’m 29 weeks now and I’m just getting worked up and wondering how soon most people feel Braxton hicks. I want to mentally prepare myself for it.

Everyone is different, but I started getting BH at 27-28 weeks. They're not super painful they just feel like your stomach is tightening and your bump will feel harder than normal. Sometimes you will get cramps like mild mild period cramps with them. Mostly mine are just uncomfortable and not painful. They last at most 2-5 mins for me and then just go away. I have heard some women say they never really got them throughout their pregnancy too, so everyone is different!

I’ve had them consistently since 20 weeks (29 weeks now) - definitely nothing to stress about as they aren’t painful!

I had them around like week 27-28. But I also think they started because I wasn't exactly very hydrated that day and I felt them whilst taking a walk. I had to slow down and stop a few times.

It's different for every mama I've heard 🙂 I started mine at 27 ish and I didn't even notice until I described a light tightening to my OB at the time (I'm at 30 weeks now) and they aren't just a "BAM BRAXTON HICKS" the pressure slowly grows. It definitely isn't as bad as I thought they were gonna be. Your body is gonna do the right things at the right time to get you ready for your baby's arrival. Mine at 30 just feel like very tightening and intense pressure but not enough to make me sweat or hurt

Toys also common to not get them or never notice them. I think I only felt 3-4 my first pregnancy and that was very close to the end.

I didn’t really feel them at all with my first but was having some at my 20 week appointment with this baby, the ultrasound tech could like see them I guess, crazy!

I think i was about 28 weeks when i started getting them. They felt like pms cramping but yesterday was a different story. I was definitely feeling some contractions and not only that but she gave me a really big kick which seemed to calm the contractions down. Im 30 weeks, almost 31.

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
