Possible c-section

Hi I am currently pregnant with twins and just found out one of them is having growth restriction. Due to this I will most likely have to deliver in between 32-34 weeks. As of right now I’m looking at a c-section which has me terrified. I had my son natural and it was a great experience. Looking for other c-section moms who have any advice or are willing to share their experiences. Thank you.

I had a C-section after trying to have my baby for too long, but I just wasn’t dilating past 6 cm and my water was already broke and didn’t want to risk the baby also his heart beat started acting weird. Wasn’t a emergency c section but still…. A c section lol. I was nervous to get the C-section but I didn’t feel a thing and now knowing how the contractions feel I wish I would’ve gotten a C-section right off the bat instead of experiencing, all that I experienced trying to have a vaginal birth. Honestly it’s okay to be nervous ofc! But just know you won’t feel a thing! And after birth take the pain meds they definitely help make sure your moving around but not to crazy

this was similar to my experience. I wasn't dilating but I felt my contractions through my epidural because I have a fibroid tumor that caused problems. She wasn't coming down and they had already broken my water so they asked me if I wanted to wait and risk infection or go through a C-section. I wanted her out and safe. I didn't feel anything but a tug when they did the procedure. I was barely conscious for most of it though I remember vomiting during the procedure. Afterward wasnt bad. I was recovering pretty well. And yes, meds are a must.

my c section went great! i was nervous at first but the doctors are great. remember you aren’t the first person they’re doing this surgery on and surely not the last!! my recovery was great too. just make sure you get lots of rest, your body doesn’t heal good when your tired or stressed. don’t be scared to ask for help and stay on top of your pain medication

I wanted a natural birth but my daughter was breech so I had to have a csection. I was terrified but it actually went really well. It was fast and over before I knew it. Recovery wasn't horrible either

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

I have a feeling like I might get attacked from this but I’m going to say it anyways. incognito 🥸 GLP1s being mainstream for regular people who are NOT diabetic or morbidly obese is bad for so many reasons 💉💉💉

Side affects, long term dependency, supply shortages and costs, regaining the weight back as soon as you get off them.. all that ASIDE how do people not see just from a zoomed out perspective how crazy it is. I can’t imagine being someone facing food insecurity in an underdeveloped country and watching westerners give themselves daily jabs so they can lose weight while still eating a calorie surplus/ crappy foods. It’s giving hunger games when district 12 Katniss finds out at the party at the capital that people eat and then take a pill to make themselves sick so they can 🤮 and eat some more. These ads running ozempic everywhere are disgusting, and then getting amazing athletes like Serena Williams to push them talking bout “i’ve never been healthier” girl you were an OLYMPIC athlete wym??

Getting pregnant after c section

When did you get pregnant again after a c section? Our plan was always to have 2 under 2 but that is now out the window because I had an emergency section. I know they say 18 months and we will be sticking to it (as much as I don’t want to) but I’m curious how quickly you got pregnant after your section?

Feeling so overwhelmed

I have gone back to work this last week. I’m struggling so much. My baby has just started nursery and she’s finding it really hard. She’s also ill with a terrible cold and conjunctivitis at the moment. Sleep is horrendous - I’m getting maybe 4/5 very broken hours having to co sleep. It feel so hard. Last night I argued with my partner so badly and I feel like our relationship is taking such a hit. He reassures me and says all the right things I just feel a bit numb/sad this last week/2weeks. I’m also considering stopping breastfeeding after doing it exclusively for a year.
Just wondered if anyone is feeling the same/similar? X
