Hospital bag

I'm currently ordering things for my hospital bag. I'm struggling to find comfortable underwear including nursing bras and a going home outfit. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

I got all my knickers from primark - super comfy seamless ones, they come on all different shapes as well and are mega cheap so doesn’t matter if they get ruined!
I also managed to get some wireless 2 pack crop nursing crop tops in primark for around the house that are mega comfy and I think £12 for 2 so really good value.
Nursing bras I had to get from bravissimo because my boobs have grown SO MUCH, almost an i cup now 😩 the bras are expensive but a good investment I think.
Good luck! Xxx

I have really comfortable knickers and nursing bras from M&S - great quality and they weren’t too expensive either.

Nursing bra - M&S flexifit non wired (they have all sizes A-H)
Underwear - over the bump maternity knickers from Sainsburys 😍

M&S cotton Lycra are my favourite. The bigger the better and only dark colours

I ordered my nursing bras from SHEIN. They’re pretty decent and great prices. If you have time to wait for the 7-10 day delivery give it a go there. I also went and got extra long charging cables for the hospital to my partner and I on there and a few other accessories.

For going home, I’ve just got extra large hoody and joggers from primark. It’ll be cold and you’ll want to feel warm and comfortable. Xx

Got my nursing bras from Amazon & knickers from Asda/Tesco in a bigger size. I’m going to be wearing maternity leggings and a floaty top to leave in xx

Thank you so much everyone. I was fed up trying to search last night and felt I was getting nowhere. Now you have all gave me something to work with. I'll get on it tonight and then that's me done. 🎉 thanks again ❤️ xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
