Anyone else been booked in for an induction? I was really emotional when I got told the date, not sure why, just became more real than ever!

Do you mind me asking how far in advance you’ve been given your induction date?

Hi! I’m currently 36 weeks and been booked in for 38 week induction. Are you due for one?

they planning a induction for me at 37 weeks x

thank you, not due for one at the moment however they’ve said it could still be a possibility. I have gestational diabetes so have to go for growth scans. I have my next scan next week (currently 34 weeks)

I can imagine you must feel scared and excited and all the other emotions all at once! It's understandable

I totally understand. I had my 36 weeks obstetrics scan yesterday and I was booked in for a 39 week induction on Dec 4 because baby girl is now on the 95 percentile (she’s on the big side) where her due date was initially Dec 10. Not nearly as prepared as I should be but it’s gotten realer than ever. But I know everything will be okay. When’s your induction date?

I’ve got GD too Sophie which is why they are inducing me. I only found out I’ve got it at week 34 so it’s been a lot to take in. It wasn’t my food reads that were bad but my fasting ones so I’ve got to start insulin too. Bit overwhelming but will get there. Hope all goes well for you x

I’m getting induced at 37 +1 weeks on Tuesday next week for GD, found out today but I’m very excited as I’ve been struggling with sciatica and pgp 🙈 xx

@Leanne I was told I would of been Induced if baby still had reduced growth but luckily at my scan today she's had a growth spurt!
So I know how you feel as for past 2 weeks I was 💩 possibly being induced

it’s daunting isn’t it, defo just fear of the unknown. I’ve got a good few days to come to terms with it haha x

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
