Does anyone else go through this?
My son is 19 months old and he has been very cranky at night. Around the same time every night in the bath tube he will be playing with toys and randomly start crying and screaming trying to get out before I even finish bathing him. Idk if he’s scared or if he’s getting sleepy or something. It’s crying, screaming, and hyperventilating. Like it’s making me panic and idk how to soothe him when he gets like this.

Mine will do this with lunch, which is right before nap for him. He will be just fine, and then go full into meltdown mode with no warning. For our kiddo it's a sign he is done and needs to lay down. It's also something we see at bedtime if he starts to get overtired.
If it happens a consistent point in bathing (ie washing or rinsing hair) it may be that that specific thing bothers him

Maybe this will help. 18 months is about the age where they don’t want to sleep at much.
