My LO wakes up some mornings and has his first nap around 9/9.30am, other mornings like today... He woke up at 6.30am and by 7.45am he's asleep, do you just let your baby nap when tired or should I try and keep to the 9am nap everyday?! I'm a big believer of letting him sleep when he's tired but know it might mess things up..

My little boy usually wakes up around 6/6:30 always give bottle at 7am, 12, 6pm his morning and lunch naps I just go off his cues sometimes he can have a wake window for around 3 hours sometimes it’s less. I always make sure he’s in bed for 7pm some times it can make 7:30 at the latest. Sometimes around 4/5 he’ll have like a power naps for about 20 mins. I always thought it would mess his routine up but it doesn’t always try and stick to the same bed time routine so there always something regular with everyday life

I just follow my LG cues, yesterday she only had 1x 2 hour nap as she fought her last nap of the day but she went to bed around 6:30pm and woke up at 5:30 this morning and she went down for her first nap this morning at 7:45am too! I just follow her cues and she’ll let me know when she’s tired, wouldn’t say we stick to a routine but most days she’ll go to sleep between 7 and half past and she’s fine ☺️ x

I follow her sleep cues but also try and keep her wake windows closer to 3 hours - 3.5 hours if possible but some days that just isn’t possible! Feels like forever ago she went back to bed just over an hour after milk, miss them days cause I used to sneak back to bed but the tiredness passes after 3 hours of been awake 🤣 xx

Can I ask how your little ones sleep at night? I find my lo sleeps worst if I don’t get her to have 2 1/2 hrs sleep in the day. So trying to get more of a routine x
ours is pretty good, he goes down around 7, normally wakes between 3-5 for a bottle then, wakes for the day around 6.15/6.45am. I aim for 2.5/3 hours of day sleep x
