Nope, my son is 17 months and sleeps through the night in size 6 pampers nightpants.
It's full in the morning, but he's still dry and never had a rash so we don't change it at night.

Once she started sleeping through the night, I stopped changing her diaper at night. No issues or rashes. She's just shy of 16 months old.

Wow. I always thought of waking up thru night to change diaper to prevent rashes.

If you're worried about diaper rash, try using a barrier cream like A&D or Vaseline.

My son is 19 month and we sometimes change him at night. He uses night diapers and would sometimes wake up completely wet up to his stomach. So now before I go to bed I check to make sure he’s not peed through his PJ’s. If he has I’ll change him and he goes right back to sleep.

I absolutely never ever woke baby up to change their diaper. To be fair, at 10mo he still wakes up every 2h so I would not need to wake him up anyways, but I don't think I've changed a diaper at night since he was 3 or 4 months old????

Once they sleep through the night I completely stopped. When really little I'd change before feedings so if they fall asleep during bottle I didn't wake them unless they pooped after.
Only reason I've woke him was when they have diarrhea really bad and had bad rashes and don't want them to stay in it all night.
I used desitin every diaper change in mine.

If using good diapers I use huggies and the overnights now for him at night their skin is pretty dry in the morning they absorb well.

I’ve noticed it depends how much Evie drinks. She can get through the night without a change when she sleeps through the night, but if we’re playing catchup then we could be changing her around 2-4 am.

My daughter can have her nappy changed whilst asleep but I'd never wake a sleeping baby x

Avatar

No. He’s 17 months. I stopped when started sleeping through the night.

Avatar

I only wake up to change him if he has an active rash, otherwise we goop Aquaphor on before bed. He does usually wake up around 5:30 in the morning so he’s in his diaper for about 10 hours and he’s usually OK. Rarely does he get a rash because of his diaper at night.

Avatar

Only if they pooped. Otherwise, if sleeping through night I leave them alone.

Avatar

Nope, but I will change it if I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and I notice it's full. Also, I never use luvs diapers at night. They leak horrendously.

Avatar

My daughter is 9 months and she wakes once for a bottle and I do change her diaper.
When she stops waking on her own, I’ll stop changing her diaper and let her sleep.
Quality diaper and rash cream should keep their little bums safe ♥️☺️

Avatar

I never changed a diaper at night unless it was poo!

Avatar

Omg never!! A sleeping baby is a happy baby!! I only changed her if she wakes up at night(never does) and during the day that when young I did every feeding now she’s 8 months so she doesn’t eat as often so I change it when it’s smushy! She has only had a diaper rash once. And I hardly ever use creams! She definitely doesn’t have my sensitive skin lol

Avatar

No. Once my daughter started sleeping through the night around 6ish mo. I started putting her in an overnight diaper and letting her sleep. And she's never had a diaper rash from it.

My LO is 8 months and she’s been sleeping through the night since she was 2 months I’ve stopped changing her diaper since then. Before bed I clean her and put cream. She has a nice non red butt ☺️ it’s never leaked through! I do change her diaper often during the day and every diaper change I put a bit of diaper cream.

Avatar

wow 3 or 4 months that’s good

Avatar

same I do wake up between 2-4 at least once

Avatar

I didn’t know changing the diaper would wake them up??? Sometimes he sleeps thru it

Avatar

it seems like diaper cream is the key if wanna sleep through the night.

Avatar

yessss thanks

Avatar

Huggies and overnight what pampers ones???

Avatar

learning this wow.

Avatar

I only ever changed it when it was poop or it was like an excessive amount and he was leaking which didn’t happen super often. Otherwise we just change it in the morning

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?
