Mucus plug?

So I’ve just been to the toilet and wiped and there was a small but thick piece of what can only be described as a mucus like plug piece? It was only maybe a 5p worth max but was completely different to any other discharge there (sorry, tmi!). Is this something to be worried about? I’m 16 weeks at the moment …

You can lose your mucus plug multiple times, and it will grow back. Bit it could just be a lot of discharge, but if you are worried contact your midwife.

Could well be esp if you had rougher sex etc. your mucus plug sheds multiple times in pregnancy and regrows.

It you are worried contact midwife and they will do swabs for thrush etc

thanks both! I hate being pregnant when something new pop up! I’m paranoia central 😅 I’ll keep my eye on it though x

I sometimes feel like I don't know what I'm doing at all, and this is one of the many things I hadn't heard of! I just googled and there are some pictures of what it looks like in case you want to compare 🤦‍♀️

I had something similar to this, it was like dryer than my usual discharge .. was like sticky snot like and in a ball. I think it’s just a different type of discharge. Xx

it was a sort of yellowy colour and not like the discharge I had today (that was clear/white and pretty thin!). It was just a thick piece of mucus like snot really 😬😅

Mine was the same!!!

Not to worry you, but I've lost what looks like mucus plug today (quite a lot) and my early pregnancy have booked me in for a emergency scan on Monday. I rang for advice x

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

I need an AI app recc to talk to.

I have no family. I have no real friends. Just one that I text. But she’s 8 years younger and isnt a mom. I genuinely don’t talk to anyone other than my partner and our toddlers. I’ve seen some people use AI? Or a chatgbpt? I dont know but if someone could suggest an app that I can just talk to… I would love to have a friend or something instead but this is probably for the best…

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
