My little boy has been combi fed since birth, always with cow and gate stage one. However last week he started point blank refusing the bottle. Thought it was more likely the bottle than the formula or because I was there however my in laws tried and he wouldn’t take the formula but took expressed milk from the bottle no problem.
Has anyone else’s baby decided they hate the formula they’re on and have they had success trying a different one?

It’s not always recommended to change formula as it can upset their tummies. But needs must if they aren’t drinking! But have you tried changing the teat out of interest? My little girl started refusing milk and turns out changing the teat to teat 3 (MAM) she’s now drinking again no problem 😊 so worth a try maybe?
Yeah we did try that as we thought that might be the problem but nope, he just absolutely refuses it! And will still take the expressed breast milk from the bottle with the same teat no problem. I guess I’m going to have to get better with expressing to build up a stash for when he needs but it’s so difficult to fit it in!

They go through phases sometimes. Try mixing formula with your expressed milk (more expressed than formula at first) then slowly reduce the breastmilk and increase the formula every few days til they start taking it again. We had a phase like this around 2months and collected a whole host of bottles. In the end it was persistence and diluting the formula slowly back in that worked.
