Pushchair recommendations

So I’m looking to get a new pushchair, I already have a light weight travel stroller but I’m looking for something more heavy duty with bigger wheels for long walks. My son is 20 months and very tall.
We had the ickle bubba stomp V3 and his head touched the hood at 10 months. We went and tried the mamas and papas flip xt2 but his head touched the hood also, does anybody know any bigger pushchairs that ideally are world facing but also flip to me which are better suited for taller children 😩🫶🏼

I’ve just bought the Joie Litetrax pro after being recommended it by someone on here, they also said there 3 year old still fits in the pram too with lots of room! I’ve had it for 2-3 weeks now and is amazing quality & price x

I've got the joie litetrax 4 and I swear by it best pram purchase my little girl is 20 months too! Big wheels so great for most terrain hills steps etc and it folds compact. think I got it for around £160-£180 only thing is it's world facing only...I'm currently now on my 2nd child and so we keeping the same pram my daughter will be upgraded to a buggy board as she prefers been out of the pram anyway and with this pram you can get added parts like car seat and carrycot so it's a stroller and travel system all in one tbh which compact folds xx

my son is 93cm on the 99th percentile and almost 15kgs
we have the Oyster 3 and he has got a few more inches of room left in that still, we have the opposite problem we are after a travel stroller but as he is so long and heavy I am still undecided on which one to get

If you just want something comfy and big for off road walks I use the Hauck Runner 2. It’s not expensive at all and is fab and comfy, my little girl has loved it since 6 months and still does now

Omg I've been wondering the same as my boy is not fitting our Joie Versatrax anymore.

Dummy

My baby has had a dummy since about 2 weeks old (now 5 months) and over the course of the last month we weaned her off it during the day only for naps and night (which was fine) and then 5 days took it completely away during the day.

The first day no dummy was fine, the second bit rougher. But now it feels impossible she just moans and cries all the time it takes ages for her to go down to sleep (she’s always been an amazing sleeper)

I thought it was meant to get better as time went on not worse. I’m at my wits end I dunno what to do.

Currently typing this as she screams uncontrollably in the car and I cry with her cos I can’t do anything.

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Is this normal?

My 12m old is really funny with kids going near him, he’s always been this way, but anytime family’s kids sit next to him or head his way he moans or cries and moves away. He also really observes them and is never really relaxed, always looking over his shoulder. Has anyone experienced this? (He’s starting nursery properly tomorrow so hoping this helps) but is this normal?

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!
