How do you protect/prevent your little ones from hitting their heads against the crib?
Our little one has been turning and rolling in his crib, and in the process hits his head against the crib bars. Luckily (or unluckily) he is wearing a helmet, so that protects his head, but thinking ahead, how do we protect his head when he stops wearing his helmet in a few months?

Adding anything to the side of the crib, including the pool noodles is unsafe because it can be a suffocation risk and goes against unsafe sleep rules. Check with your pediatrician, but in general the wood used for cribs are made with this in mind and use softer woods. Babies just need to learn the boundaries of their cribs. He’ll be ok :) Maybe by the time his helmet is off he’ll have learned the crib boundaries and it won’t event be an issue any more :)
