Nanny and Sick Time

To my fellow working moms with nannies, what is your sick leave policy/protocols? My nanny wants to “revisit our Covid and general illness protocols” after Covid disrupted her holiday plans. I think she blames my husband, who had a cold prior to Christmas but has had repeatedly negative Covid tests. He tried to avoid overlapping with her while ill and is out of the house when she’s working. I’m talking to her about it later this week but curious to what others are doing and what is reasonably to be expected. (For context: We offer 5days paid sick leave, inform her if ill and avoid common places.)

I think the standard is 2 weeks pto. Otherwise, regarding sick time, we obviously don’t want our nanny to come here when she is sick and likewise if we are sick, so we left it open ended on sick time. We just told her that if sick time becomes excessive, we will have to talk about it, but obviously that’s a more vague approach. She is a super reasonable normal person, so we didn’t have any concerns with taking this approach.
