My baby girl

After a 2 days long induction, only dilating 1cm. Breaking my waters and being in labour for 12 hours to still only dilate 1cm, my baby girl was born on January 2nd at 1:01am via Emergency C-Section and I have never been so in love. It wasn’t the easiest experience at all the say the least and the recovery is really hard, but it’s so worth it for this little girl🤍

Congrats she is beautiful 🩷 can I ask what they give you to speed up your induction process ? I been in hospital since Wednesday I’ve had a propess and 2 piston pessaries and I’m still only 2cm 😩 there not sending me home either today is my 24 hour rest day from the prodding and meds x

I was only allowed to have maximum 4 pessary before they tried to break my waters, they successfully broke my waters but after 12 hours of back to back contractions I was still only 2cm🥲 baby started getting distressed and swelling on her head so they had to do an emergency section. But things can change so fast so just try to stay positive! Xx

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?
