My daughter will be 7 months on the 14th and she sleeps so bad. Her whole life she's woken up every 2-3 hours every night . Now she wakes up every hour and sometimes takes multiple hours to settle throughout the night. I've tried different sleep sacks , more food , changing her environment , having her contact nap exclusively, Sound machine /night light , humidifier , lavender , warm bath and probably something else. Everyone told me it would get better but it's only getting worse and I don't think it's a phase . Her doctor won't help at all I don't know what to do. She's a Velcro baby so with her exclusively contact napping and not sleeping at night it's driving me crazy . Please share ANYTHING that could help

Coming from a mama who also had a Velcro baby that would only take good naps when contact napping, I HIGHLY recommend sleep training. There are so many methods, so pick one that works for you. Personally, we did the Ferber method and by day 6, she was going to sleep within 2-3 min on her own and sleeping through the night fairly regularly. But those first 4 days were ROUGH on my mama heart; however, being on the other side of it now, it was totally worth it for me and her—she sleeps so much better and wakes up happy. I know there is a community against letting babies cry, and if that includes you, I totally get it. There are sleep training methods that don’t involve that.

I’ll add when my daughter, who will be 7 months on the 17th was cutting her bottom teeth, it was rough, maybe try some teething medication (cold teether, frozen rags to chew on, herbal remedies, baby Orajel, hylands teething tablets, Tylenol, or Motrin) just to see if that makes a difference.
