Im just wondering if anyone has been through something similar and how was baby when they arrived

I'm sure all would be well mama. No need to worry. I tested positive for PPROM at 29+6 then was sent home after 6 days since no sign of labor or infection. I have to go in every 48hrs for ctg blood tests to ensure there is no infection. The fluid around baby might build back up since the placenta continues to produce amniotic fluid. (Mines did)
I was then admitted again at 34+5 for strep B and was sent home yesterday because baby is still doing ok and safe in there, however I have an induction at 37w.
If baby does come early then it should be okay as there's a high chance if survival at this stage. The steroid injection is to help develop the lungs and assist with survival outside of the womb.

You're definitely in the rigt place and I hope everything goes well x

Thank you. With my first I went all the way to 41+2 so when it happened I was a bit scared and over the place but it seems to be a normal occurrence that is manageable.

My waters went at 28 + 2 and was in hospital for about 5 days - antibiotics/steroids etc I am now 32+4 and he’s still happily growing inside. I had a growth scan today and he actually has more fluid in today than he did when my waters broke as they build it back up themselves.
Your in the right place and although it seems scary and overwhelming, you have a good chance of making it a bit further along ❤️

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
