Did/ do any one have or had fear of having twins? I’m truly grateful, it’s such a blessing but I am a little scared mostly with my job on how I’m going to do this

I always was worried about twins had 5 kids singletons and now 18 weeks pregnant with faternal twins I did get a fright when they told me but now I’m excited for them to come

Thank you! I’m 7 weeks and just found out yesterday I’m definitely a ball of emotions. Glad I joined this group and your words give me so encouragement ❤️

I’m 32 weeks with my twins, and I have a 2 year old boy I’ve been terrified since I found out and I still am, I’m super excited and I can’t wait for them to get here but the fear hasn’t gone you’re definitely not alone 🤍

I was terrified. My twins are my first, but honestly they are amazing. I couldn’t imagine life with just one baby now. Going back to work was a huge struggle for me. I would start taking / looking into child care ASAP if you are returning to work. See if you can shadow them or get to know them before you leave your babies with this. That helped me a lot!

I found out at 7 weeks as well due to pain gave me a scan and told me it was twins that’s why the pain is scary when they tell you but few weeks and you will be grand it will just be shock haha is a massive shock as twins never even crossed my mind

I’m pregnant with my first just one baby but the idea of carrying two babies seems absolutely out of this world I can’t imagine the feeling of the kicks I already feel uncomfortable with one baby’s kicks. Two whole humans growing in your body is a talent.
Women who carry twins are literally gods and should be treated like so I wish you all the strength and joy during this pregnancy💕

I wasn't scared at all during my pregnancy. I manifested boy girl twins since I was 7 years old, my spoiled ass got what I wanted and I was only scared to lose them cause I had 3 miscarriages before them. I always say I can't even imagine only caring one baby at a time and now, raising one baby at a time, we joke all the time that we'd be bored with a singleton 🤣 I did get nervous once they were born and I saw they were both perfectly healthy and I needed to figure out this mom thing in 2 days cause they're going home with me, but we very quickly fell into our rhythm and it's so clear that this was meant for us. Remember, those babies were made for you and YOU were made for those babies. You got this 🤍🥳

I was and still am terrified at 33 weeks. I've only got a couple.of weeks left and really struggling to feel excited I'm just a ball of nerves. I have 3 already and I don't.know how I'm going to cope 😬

You guys are the best thank you for letting me know I’m not in this along and all my feelings are normal and valid ❤️

I feel exactly the same. We found out at a 7 week scan and it was such a shock - our babies are IVF miracles, but we only inserted one embryo - drs said the chance of it splitting was less than 1%, but here we are ☺️ I go through waves of emotions.. it is such a blessing but don't beat yourself up for being scared - it's a huge thing! And not what you originally mentally prepared for! But I like to think nature chooses the strongest of mummas to carry multiples ☺️❤️ x

I’m terrified! So truly happy and feel blessed, but very scared! We have 2 already and my oldest will only be 4.5 when the twins are born. 4 kids 4 and under has me in a panic most days. But I know once we’re through the early years, it will be the most incredible thing!! We’ve all got this!! 🥰

I found out at almost 10 weeks and it was a lot to process. My initial reaction was excitement, then it settled in a little and I was really scared. They were my first and I never imagined having twins so I really had to reshape what I imagined our family to be. It’s okay to be scared, it’s okay to feel unsure, and it’s okay to be excited all in one! My girls are here now and I couldn’t imagine anything else!

I find out a week Monday what twins are at my 20 week scan that’s exciting

The sickness wasn’t great but apart from that no different from a single baby

Oh definitely - I think the fear is very normal. I was nervous for most of my pregnancy. My daughter was only going to be a year and a half when the boys came and I could not picture how we were going to do it. But my boys are almost 7 weeks old now and we're finding our rythm. You learn creative parenting very quickly, and you'll gain a lot of confidence as you do. Plus- the twin parent tribe is pretty amazing. Everyone is so quick to help and offer support.

@Destiny you got this! My dad had 4 boys, all 2 and under 🙃 they all survived and my brothers loved growing up so close in age.

Hey! I found out very early around 4 weeks that I was expecting twins and I was honestly so shocked so upset and could not stop crying as all I could think was how am I going to do this I feel like I can't, I'm still very early on but I am starting to feel a bit better about it I guess it's just the initial shock!X

Sorry 5 weeks is when they found 2 sacs and 6 weeks it was confirmed there was two heart beats and that mine could potentially be mono/mono twins another thing to get your head around is all the different types of twins!
