I’m 28+4 and I am in a lot of pain and discomfort down below. I have extra fluid they say which can be contributing factor but I can barely walk. I have mild cramping, back ache and a lot of pain and discomfort when walking / sitting laying on my side especially in my pelvic region. Only place I feel normal is by slouching or getting in the bath. Was anyone else like this at this stage? Or do I need to get checked out? But my goodness I feel like I’ve had my butt kicked this week! 😅😂
I’ve got the diabetes test in a couple of days to confirm that as well!

I’ve been suffering like this for a while. Some days my back and pelvis was so bad I could barely walk. I’d wake up in more pain than when I went to sleep. Unfortunately I’m 31 weeks and it’s only gotten worse 😂
My midwife said she could refer me to physio but you can get most of the exercises online to help this. Most people find heat packs on the back help a little, or getting a belly support band.
Unfortunately some of us are just unlucky and I’m just plodding along hoping it all eases off once baby is born.
If it gets too bad deff ask for a referral to the physio, might be able to offer some form of relief maybe, I turned it down and it’s only gotten worse. Now I feel like there isn’t much point. By time I get an appointment baby will probably be here 😂 I have found bouncing on a pregnancy ball helps a lot whilst I’m doing it, eases off but once I’m back up and walking again it comes back. The more rest the better 👌🏽

Aw thank you that has made me feel a little better! I never thought of doing physio type stuff so I will look into that ☺️ I do try and keep active and the gym and walks but I can’t go when I feel like this 🙈 I’m seeing my midwife next week so I will def mention it!

100% mention it as it’s more stretches and specific exercises that help with where you have pain. They can also give you equipment and stuff to help, like the support bands and stuff if they think you need them ☺️

ah that’s good to know! ☺️ I’ve never seen them bands before but they look comfy. I can describe the feeling when I stand up it’s like everything’s going to drop out of me 😂 I’ve just ordered myself a ball because I think that will help with being uncomfortable.

I only feel comfortable when I slouch, until she decides to move up a little into my ribs and then I feel like I’ve got a ball stuck under my ribs and it’s so uncomfortable😩

yeah I feel that too 🙈 it’s the most strange feeling!
