My baby is 3 months and ever since he was a new born I kinda have been co sleeping with him bc I just found it easier for me to feed him etc. I’m trying to get him to sleep in his crib but having trouble, he won’t sleep unless he’s with me. Any other moms went through this and figured out how to get their baby to sleep in the crib please comment any ideas/tips 🙏

I read somewhere that a baby does not begin to acclimate to the world outside of our bodies until four months of age. I believe it takes longer than that. Your baby is seeking comfort for many months especially moreso if their day time experience has been overly stimulating.
You are home to him.
Personally, my baby naps on the couch, on the chaise, on a puffy blanket on the floor, in a chair, in the bed, with a barrier built around him, and his bassinet. if I want to put him in his bassinet in the middle of the night, he will go freely maybe because he sleeps on every surface throughout the day. We spend 1AM until 6:30 AM next to one another by choice so I can feed him at 1am and 4 instead of pump but if I go pump, I give him a bottle and watch him drink it laying in his bassinet then burp him after. Hope these recommendations help in someway.

Start by trying to get him to nap in his crib, then you can try to add night time sleep in the crib once you have success with daytime naps.

We follow La Leche League’s safe sleep 7 to make cosleeping as safe as possible for us because my baby would only sleep with me. It’s a good idea to get your bed set-up as safe as possible for baby to minimize the risks. I looked up the SIDS calculator online as well, which made me feel better about my decision to cosleep.
