Surah to recite during pregnancy

Salaam mummas,

There's lots of suggestion on the Internet for mums to recite Surah Yusuf, Surah inshaqaq, Surah Maryam during pregnancy. However non of them mention if its a particular verse or the whole surah? I can't read the quran in Arabic but have the english transliteration quran and was hoping if there is a particular (short) verse I can recite for each of the surah during pregnancy. Which will be easy for me to remember and recite everyday.

I used to listen to the Surahs during my pregnancy, as it was easier.
Each surah is to help you during pregnancy, so Surah Yusuf is for a beautiful child, Surah Maryum to help ease the labour.
I used to recite the 4 Qul and Ayat ul kursi for protection, as they are easy to recite everyday.

They say Surah Maryam for girls and Surah Yusuf for boys.
I found a recitation in Arabic that i found soothing and would listen to this whilst on my daily walks, Dr appts etc
It was so relaxing and we both loved it.

It would be listening to the whole thing hun or as much of it you can play

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
