Ok.. silly first time mom question/ponderings…
I feel like my little one has been in size 4 diapers forever 😅😅 we moved through newborn-3’s fairly quickly, and when he started to leak through/get a little snug in 3’s we obviously sized up… now we’ve been in 4’s for many months (like.. it feels like forever 😅) now. He’s 52nd percentile in his weight, but 82nd in height.. idk if it’s because he’s pretty much just stretching out or what 🤣
He’s my first, and it’s just an odd thought that maybe he isn’t growing/gaining right..? anyone with more than one kiddo, or anyone in general 😂 it’s it normal to be in one size for a really long time? 😳🤣🤣

I only have 1 for now (due next month with number 2) and my little girl did the same. Even with clothes. She's been in 18mo clothes since around 10 months old. Switched to size 4 diapers around 12 months. She went 6 months without gaining weight, but grew in height. She's gained 1 lb over the last 2ish months and her pediatrician team said it's completely normal.
he’s in 18m clothes, and has been for a few months, they’re a little wide for him, but he’s long so he can’t fit in the 12m stuff 😆
I just feel like he’s hit a stagnant point with sizes (the diapers especially) and I’m not sure if it’s normal. Our pediatrician isn’t concerned or anything, but I’m curious if this is just a thing they all go through 😆
Thank you!

Some kids stay in the same diapers until they don’t need diapers anymore lol. It just is however they fit your child. My son was in size 5 from 8 months until 15 months! That was the longest time he was in the same size diaper lol

We've been in size 3 diapers for nearly a year. They just grow at a slower pace as they get older and the ranges on sizes also increases as the size goes up! Nothing to be concerned about! Your pediatrician will let you know if there is a weight or growing concern!

Going thru the same thing with my daughter. She's tall and too long for 12 month pants so we're in 18months and still size 4. I'm not mad at all because I've seen the larger sized diapers come with smaller counts and I don't like that lol.

My son is 53rd percentile in weight and 2nd (my short lil guy)in height and he has been in threes for over a year now. I’m considering going up to fours now because I think threes are starting to get a little snug or at least are getting a little more difficult to put on good. I think that’s completely normal! I think it also can depend on what type of diapers you’re using. My son is always been able to wear smaller size in Huggies but if I use other brands such as honest or hello Bello I have to size up because they don’t have as much stretch to them

Same, totally normal! Their bodies aren’t growing as quickly so they aren’t moving through sizes as fast.
My daughter is in the 94th percentile and we JUST bought a pack of 5’s.

My gurl has been in size five since around 8 months and now she’s almost 17 months

Our daughter has been in size 5 for a long time, but she just had a massive blowout today, so I guess it's probably about time to move up a size. 🥴

What cloth diapers do you use? I’m switching mine to cloth.

I’m willing to do what it takes. My LO gets rashes no matter what and now she’s got eczema from it I feel like. Just happened this month. It has to be the diapers I just know it
