Does anyone know the NHS engagement scoring?

The last 2 appointments have also been with different midwifes, could they be measuring slightly differently due to this?

I think he's less engaged but I could be wrong I thought the closer you are to one the closer you are to labour if that makes sense also probably measuring different because of two different midwives xx

NE, NEng, Not Eng: not engaged

E or Eng = engaged

5/5 = free

4/5 = sitting on the pelvic brim

3/5 = lower but most still above the brim

2/5 = engaged, as most is below the brim

1/5 or 0/5 = deeply engaged

Both of my babies popped in and out of engagement until labour so don't worry too much about it. To the point my son needed intervention of pushing the bump down to bring his head down into engagement as they stemmed the breaking of my waters to prevent cord prolapse x

I wish my midwife bothered to fill this in she fills in the absolute bare minimum🙄

@Rebecca mine doesn't fill this in either. Everything is lines since October! My most recent examination on 2 January isn't even on it!! I much prefer the hand held notes!
