How many items are you guys adding to your registry or have already added? I’ve added pretty much the basic but I’ll be having my baby shower this April and we have a decent amount of guests so I’m trying to add more items but I’ also feel shy about making people buy such expansive things for me 😅 my husband and I were planning to get our baby the essentials like crib, stroller, bassinet, bouncer etc but I went ahead and put it in the registry in case someone does buy it for us if not we’ll buy pretty much anything that hasn’t been bought. Also when are you planning on having your baby shower? I’ll be having mine by the time I’m 34 weeks

I’ve got 87 things I think. Included multiple things of diapers and wipes. Clothes. And some toys.
I’m mostly using the registry as a shopping list for myself cause I’m waiting till the completion discount kicks in for Amazon. Then everything is like 20% off

I have 133 items! I tried to add things that weren’t too expensive but threw some slightly bigger items. I selected the option to allow group gifting for those.
I added baby books, socks, bath items, clothes in larger sizes, a couple different brands for bottles, a high chair, bottle sterilizer/dryer, burp cloths, stroller accessories, etc.
Mine will be probably sometime in March. I wanted to have enough time after the shower to organize everything and buy whatever we didn’t get that we will still need.

i have 92 items

I didn’t even think about the discount part yet that’s actually a good idea!

yea that’s what I did for my first. Just turned it into one big shopping list. I didn’t have a baby shower. So if people asked for the list I gave it to them otherwise I bought the stuff when the discount comes through. Cause Amazon lets you use it an unlimited amount of times

I think I have 156 items and this is my second. I'm putting a few things we never got the first time and a few things a found out I needed later. Lol
What I did for a few of the items the first time was add them and say they were bought because some things were when i was out with family shopping randomly. That way people knew they didn't need to buy but still saw the style or brand I was getting or had recieved not through the registry, per-say.... 😅
Sometimes, if people don't see it, they think you forgot or they want to make sure you have it because they liked it and will buy it. Then you end up with more than one.
You never know what people will do or are willing to buy.

Yea I have a decent amount of people coming as well (first baby in the family 😜)
I put everything on there. Other than the crib, I have car seat, stroller etc big items on there. I’m using Babylist, they have an option for people to do cash gift/ PayPal money gift for like “college funds” or “diaper funds”. I think that’s a good option for people who don’t want to buy the higher price items! But I agree with the rest of the mamas, I have items that are on the cheaper side like toys and clothes as well as an option for guests. And I also agree it’s so awkward to ask people to get things for us

love Babylist.... That's what I'm using also. It makes it easy for everyone because it gives the cheapest price for the items. And still marks stuff off the list.

Around 150 but I told my family it is because I have multiple of the same item for many items because I liked them all and couldn't decide which one to pick, so I decided to leave it up to the gift giver to choose what they want to gift to me, but I know I'll like it already because I chose each design

I have 150.
20 items are “private” and more for just me to keep in mind/ can make public if I want.
2 are gift card/ cash funds.
37 have been purchased before my 2 showers (by myself/ husband/ parents).
I also didn’t put any clothes because people buy those just because they are cute and I wanna focus on the necessities.
Here is mine if you need a reference. I’ve spent 5 months editing and refining it.

I have 4 lol. But I'm working on it.

I have 146 but I’m adjusting as I bought stuff already

I always add anything I buy to my registry then mark it as purchased so I avoid receiving duplicates!

that’s what I’m doing rn but they aren’t the same brand so I remove if it’s not the same ;-;

lol right 😅

I have like 190 items. Don’t feel guilty! Also I know at least on Amazon you can make items over a certain price point available to be bought by a “group” rather than an individual. A lot of people have gift giving as a love language, so don’t feel guilty putting expensive things!

I didn't put anything on mine yet? Idk if I want too? Ik I probably won't have a baby shower

I have over 100 items (includes diapers for 0-12) a handful of big things we think family or friends might combine gift us. Looking for quality and asking for gender neutral starter items so everything can last for any additional children we have.

Mine has 200 items, 48 purchased so far (mostly by us but some items have been gifted). I’ve been using it as a shopping list for everything we need, also so we can take advantage of the completion discount later. I’ve been trying to take care of the big ticket items ourselves, and I also noted that we would love anything used! I also registered for several different sizes of diapers otherwise everyone gets newborn lol
We’re also gonna ask for signed baby books instead of cards at our shower so we also added a lot of baby books haha

I’ve got 66 items on mine. I feel like I’m missing stuff but also like there’s too much stuff so it’s safe to say I sorta don’t know what I’m doing 🤣🤦🏾♀️
I’m too indecisive for this. I just add stuff that I would like to have and then go back and remove stuff we may not really need. 🤷🏾♀️
I’m using Babylist but I hope to still be able to utilize Amazon completion discount for what’s not gifted to us.
Baby shower & reveal party is being planned for early March I’ll be 29 weeks

I cannot believe how many people have over 100 items

it counts each individual item. So if you add diapers and request 10 of one sizes. That’s counts as 10 items. Atleast on Amazon it does. So I have like 200 items but I have every size diaper from preemie to 7

a first time parent will have an average of 110-120 items on their registry to cover everything they need for their new baby!

Or even different colors or whatnot of the same items. Like different towels or sets of washcloths.... and most of the bottles come in singles, and we were told to get one of every kind so the baby can choose what they like and then buy a few more of that one, once you know what they like. Plus, I put older items on there also like different learning toys and bowls, plates, and cups, as well as I found about 10 different books we don't have.
Multiples of one type of item definitely adds up. Because I probably only have 35-40 or so different items but many extra of the same item. And some things I saw and added in so I could have a side by side comparison later when I had time to go back and look at details on the item.
Like I have 5 double strollers in my registry right now, but I don't want 5, obviously. I just saw those and looked at them briefly on what they had and am going to go back and read the details on them to see which one I really like or try to find it in the store and test it out first.

I have 126. First time mom ! But of course there’s more I may find I need.

A little over 40 items:)
