Momma’s, I need some help! My girl dropped to one nap a day probably when she was about 9 months old. I track her sleep and for the last few months, she would be up for about 5 hours before her nap and same with bedtime. And she would sleep about 11-11.5 hours all night. Here recently, she has been absolutely REFUSING to go down for a nap even tho she has all the sleepy cues. Absolutely nothing has changed in our routine. She also has been waking during the night and it takes forever to put her back down. She’s also never had any problems with teething and takes it like a champ!
Do I need to change something? Is she going through separation anxiety? I stay home with her and I miss getting an hour to myself during her nap time. (She’s 16 months today) TIA

I don’t have any suggestion but came to say that we are going through the exact same thing rn. Some days he goes 3 hours in the morning and takes an hour nap, some days he goes 6-8 hours awake before I can get him to nap and we had our first no nap day this week but he was up at 5 am the next day

try 5.5/5 she might need more wake time now by 18 months they should be around 6/5

my son had been refusing to go down for bedtime recently🥴 it takes forever for him to finally sleep. he just turned 15 months!

Yeah my son is in the same boat. If he naps it’s only like 40 mins

this! It doesn’t matter how long I let him stay up, 3 hours-6 hours, 40m-1hr is the longest he will sleep unless I nap with him

My girl went through this a couple weeks ago. Pretty sure its a sleep regression because she is back to normal again! If everything has been normal and no changes in routine, then it’s most likely the sleep regression they go through around 16-18 months I believe usually lasts a week or two sometimes more…it was about a week and a half for us. So just keep doing what you’re doing, take a few extra deep breaths and drink some more caffein, this will soon pass!

We were on a similar schedule. I started putting her down earlier for her nap and it actually helped a lot. Her nap got longer and her afternoon wake time is now a bit longer than her morning one.

Mine has been waking up at night again and only goes back to sleep in bed with me. Her baps have been all across the board. I never know what to do anymore because I don't know her schedule.

We do 6 hour wake time, nap for two hours and then 4 hour wake time before bedtime. Also, I have found reading to her before naps and obviously before bedtime works the best... calms them down before their nap.
