Question about dinner what you serve your little one

So my question is would you serve the food you know they'll 100% eat or keep making dinners as normal
My boy is kinda picky now he will eat a few bites of the dinners like he will try but doesn't finish it im lucky if he'll finish 50% of it
I make like sausages & mash, roasts, chicken chips ect but he absolutely loves pasta bake he will eat every last bit and I always put extra because I know he loves it
I maybe cook it once a week
I'm thinking of doing more of pasta makes n mix it up a bit until I know he'll be more comfortable with eating other foods or is this a bad idea n he'll become more picky?
He's nearly 16 months

My boy is 19 months and has his favourite foods but I still mix it up and give him things that are new and different. Even things that he has refused I will still give them and we all eat the same at dinner time (he’s at nursery during all other meal times). Apparently it can take babies up to 10 times of eating a food to decide if they like it or not. He eats almost everything. Some times he will finish his plate and sometimes he won’t but I know he won’t starve. A lot of people won’t agree with me and will offer an alternative but I don’t and it seems to have worked and he loves food. Xx

thank you for that I completely agree with you I'm not offering alternatives I just add in a little supper just before bed bananas biscuits ect
Okay so your staying stick with the changing of the dinners and things will change soon enough hopefully ☺️ thank you again hun xx

Yeah exactly, so as long as they’re getting a consistent breakfast and lunch then just switch dinner up then you will be doing some snacks in between so he will definitely be getting enough calories. My son absolutely loves pasta so will still have some sort of pasta dish a couple of times a week but will always do other foods throughout the week at dinner times to keep up the variety. As long as you’re eating the same as him he will likely start to get more motivated about other foods. Apparently they all go through a fussy phase around age 2 though 🙈 but at least by that point they will have developed confidence in eating different types and will get used the different tastes/textures etc xx

yeah breakfast n lunch goes well to be fair can't moan too much just when it comes to dinner food he struggles no idea why and I always eat the same I'm trying my best to not cook two different meals 😅
We been through a really bad stage he only ate banana toast and thin air 😂 so he's done so well since then hopefully by two we'll have more options than that 😂 xx

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

I need an AI app recc to talk to.

I have no family. I have no real friends. Just one that I text. But she’s 8 years younger and isnt a mom. I genuinely don’t talk to anyone other than my partner and our toddlers. I’ve seen some people use AI? Or a chatgbpt? I dont know but if someone could suggest an app that I can just talk to… I would love to have a friend or something instead but this is probably for the best…

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
