We've been really lucky so far that our 2.5yo has always loved sleeping. Outside of sleep regressions we don't have too much trouble with naps or sleep. She would have a nap 1-3pm and then be back in bed happily asleep around 7pm and wake up at 630am
Up until a week ago she was able to put herself to sleep at nap and night time and willingly go with minimal issues.
After Christmas and all of her family leaving after 5 hectic days she had some trouble going to sleep as was worried mummy or daddy would leave. She was also super tired and asked to go to bed earlier than usual 12pm nap and 6pm bed.
This last week she's just decided one day to stop napping. The first day was a complete battle at home with lots of crying. Then for the next 4 days she was back at nursery and refusing to nap there. Most days she is getting to about 4-5pm and isn't herself, tired, hyper, struggling to eat. The earliest we are starting bedtime routine is around 545pm so she can be asleep around 6pm or so. At home on the weekend we tried to give her the option of quiet time or nap and she's chosen quiet time but as she isn't great at independent play one of us has been hanging out with her in her room so she's taken it as quite a positive alternative to napping. At nursery the alternative to napping is also a lot of fun and games. It's been a week of no naps.
We've also tried waking her up earlier 6/615am and she is very tired from this but still refusing to nap and especially get into the crib.
Her current set up is the stoke crib bed. So wondering if the next step is to take it down to an open toddler bed she can get into and out of herself? She's not tried to climb out and is mostly happy in it for night time.
Anyone else go through this??
Any suggestions to help her get back her nap or help with independent quiet time?

Does she have toys in her crib? My lo has quite a lot of soft toys in her crib so I'd recommend even if she has quiet time, do it in the crib and leave the room. I watch my lo on the monitor and sometimes she plays etc but eventually goes to sleep. So instead of nap Vs playing you could just say crib time but she can play in there if she wants to. And reassure her you'll come back when it is wake up time. I would also stick to your normal schedule, i.e. 1pm and 7pm.
