This sounds like sleep regression. We are also going through it at the moment and LO is 5 months old. Hoping for it to pass on it’s own or we sleep train next week

I don’t even know how to sleep train cause he usually likes to cry it out not that we don’t comfort him but we tried everything rocking him bottle feeding doesn’t work so we leave him to cry for 10 minutes than he usually sleeps

from what I am reading feom multiple sources is that we don’t rock or feed them before putting them down. We are doing half the job otherwise and it takes longer. We stick to the preferred sleep training method even for night wake ups and only go in for checkin if doing ferber method or any other gentle method or let them CIO.

if your LO is already sleep trained and still waking up frequently at night, it could be the issue with wake times being too short or long. Apparently it is a science 😓

He have been doing CIO for weeks now and it’s been working now all of a sudden he wakes up two to three times a night but we aren’t sure if he is hungry so we feed him

my son has one maybe two naps a day but he has been like this since three weeks old I feel lucky that he sleeps from 11 till 6:30 or 7:30 expect when he goes through sleep regression he will wake up two or three times at night

with him it’s a guessing game he is so hard to put to sleep especially with naps he does maybe two naps a day

Sleep regression. My baby started sleeping alright around 2 months, then a month later, he started waking every two hours early in the night and every hour in the early morning hours. It sucked. My boyfriend had to take him for an hour or two every morning for quite a while because I felt like I was gonna go crazy without more sleep.

@Sasha if sleep is this bad at 4 months I can't imagine that dip at 8 months. I'm gonna be screwed.

he wasn’t hard to put down for naps before regression but that phase got over in like two weeks for us. Now I just follow wake windows for his age. He sleeps pretty easily if I am within those wake windows. I guess he is getting into the rhythm of schedule which I really wanted to happen before sleep training.

I’m 16 months in and all I can say is you’re not alone lol the strength of being a mother is DIFFERENT

No tips just in it with you. Currently on week 6 of sleep regression. He would go 10 hours of sleep at night, to now waking every 2-3 😭 and as a workin momma im TIRED
