We’ve been given our little one cows milk, afternoon bottle started adding oz at a time taking a oz of her normal milk, been doing this for roughly two/three weeks and her poos are explosive!!
Like really bad, thought I’d carry on see if they improve but they really haven’t, would you try a cow milk alternative? Was looking at alpro growing up milk
I know the transition can effect the poos but there’s been no improvement at all, see seems okay, not in pain or anything but it’s just runny/exploding.

Is little one ok with milk in food? My daughter has a CMPA so we’ve been off dairy for a long time reintroducing alongside our dietician and no luck.
My daughter will outright refuse soya milk but adores oat milk. The problem with that is that we think she reacts with lots of farts 🫠 im starting to think that my daughter will just come off formula and have to go cold turkey and i substitute in her food to ensure she’s getting the full calcium intake.
It might be worth speaking to your GP / HV about it and see what they recommend. If you are going to cut out dairy then just be aware oats milk can cause bloating and wind which I didn’t know, lots of people can’t drink it. I started an ounce in her bottle like you’ve done but once she can taste the soya she will refuse

Thanks for the advice! Going to speak to hv/doctors she’s find with milk in food etc never had a problem so not sure what to do

I do know through going through the milk ladder that cooked and baked milk is different to fresh milk so she may be able to tolerate baked and cooked but fresh might push her over her tolerance threshold and causing the poos or it may just take her a little longer to adjust.
