Baby/toddler table and chairs

Hello! Did you try to set the high chair at the dinner table and have food in the same time as her? I just heard this could help.

I was wondering this the other day as my daughter tries to launch herself out of her high chair and can stand in it. I don’t want to start strapping her in as I know it’s not recommended in case of choking but idk if she can sit well at a table yet. We can’t really do the whole put the high chair at the dinner table because we only have a tiny breakfast bar in the kitchen with how small our house is

My boy has a little chair which he uses at the coffee table. Ever since he started nursery and they have a table and little chairs for food times he hated the high chair. He's still learning not to climb on it during meals but seems to love the fact he can come and go from his lunch as he wants and I find he actually eats more x

Got a little chair & table at a charity shop a while back & we use it for all meals & snacks. Chair by the wall to avoid falls backwards for now !

We got a little booster seat for normal chairs at the table, so it straps round the chair to make it secure and then it also straps him in to the chair but his top half is not strapped (if that makes sense) and that really helped

we have a wee breakfast bar in our kitchen, too! I bought a little high chair that clips to the table (if you search “travel clip on high chair” loads come up) and she loves to sit there with me and we eat together.

that’s handy to know. Although I need to get some new chairs/stools for my breakfast bar first as my fat ass partner broke them🙄😂
