Who’s doing baby groups. If im really honest I can’t be arsed!
I have lots of Mum friends who I see couple times a week and tons of family (both sides) who I spend a lot of time with. We usually spend 1 day alone a week. I do lots of singing and play time at home and just not sure what baby groups will add at this age as socialising isn’t a thing at 4 months. She’s used to busy nosing environments and sees lots of babies/children.
She’s going to start nursery at 7 and a half months so will also learn socialising then.
I just don’t want my day dictated by times and getting stressed about it. I can’t see it being a benefit to either of us!
I’m going to start doing the library bounce and rhymes in the next month but so much pressure to be doing more and doing it now!
I have a group chat with my ante natal group and we see each other a few times a month which is nice but feel like there all doing groups which is stressing!
I just think she will get much out of them when she can at least sit on her own as at the moment all the toys and activities etc she won’t be able to do/play with and feel like these groups are designed more for older babies although I’m well aware sensory etc is nice at any age but can also do that at home and feel like her just learning about her environment and friends/family is the most important now
Please tell me I’m not the only one 🙈

it sounds like you are very lucky and already have mum friends and family, we’ve signed up to quite a few but that’s because I don’t have any family or friends in my area so see it as an opportunity to meet new people but also get out of the house so I don’t get cabin fever as we live in an isolated rural area. there’s no problem not doing them but for me they’re a life line x

I don’t think there is any obligation at all to do anything you don’t fancy! I like getting out and about and I like it gives me a break from having to entertain my little one as even though he’s only 4 months, he looks around at others and we get to try out different toys! I just like the variety x

We do one a week and then sometimes go to free drop in ones depending on what we feel like. I think it all depends on your and your baby's needs :)
