My LO is 9 weeks and still doing it, extremely sleep deprived over here!

What’s active sleeping?

Yep! We call it gremlin mode 😬

😈😩🤣💯

Same as Charleen - he’s quiet from when he goes down then wants feeding about 4am. After that he’s really active. I check on him a couple of times to be sure he’s OK then I leave him to it. It’s normally only for a couple of hours as he wakes between 7.30 and 8.
Sometimes he is particularly active if his nighttime congestion is worse than normal (if we forgot his saline drops pre-bed).

Same! Thank God for the first stretch of deep sleep. Then it tapers from there. Grunting and whinging too from 3am - til we get up. And really short light sleep, 30-45mins?

@Gemma it is every time your LO sleeps ?
Every nap?

My little girl is the exact same! Deep sleep for 2 to 4 hours at first and then a constant grunting and noise making and when settled down again she wakes after 30 mins. I am one tired mama! 😅

Yeah mine does it but i feel like its her belly making jng her uncomfortable sometimes as shes grunting and pulling legs up to chest so much so that she rolls from side to belly! Ahe often wakes herself up doing this after about 10/15 mins of being in her bedside crib so im getting 0 sleep! I dunno ifits active sleep or her belly as once shes passed some gas or been for a poop she'll sleep a lot happier ! I dunno what to do 😂😂

yep! It’s a nightmare, she’s so loud, grunts, shouts, moves her head around constantly, eyes always closed! I’m praying she grows out of it soon as I’m desperate for some sleep. Every noise has me awake x

same! I think she's more gassy in the early hours as she's been stagnating on her back for so long?

interesting, fr me its when im first putting her down, so shes never done a nap in her ct in the day as itd take hours to get her down. It takes me 4 or more goes of putting her in her cot at night before she'll actually sleep for more than 5/10 mins! Usually its once shes passed some gas or pooped! She rolled on her belly the other night as i trasnfer her onto her side as she sleeps netted that way and i watched her for a bit. She stopped grunting and moving about and was happily asleep so i think when shes rolling and can sleep on her belly itll help massively!
