My midwife has just called me to let me know it’s come up that I have low papp-a, I’m 16 weeks.
I’m just wondering if anyone else has this or had this and knows what this means and this risk, whether they’re high etc?

Hi there, got it as well. They have prescribed aspirin to me. There are chances of preeclampsia or early birth. To keep that under observation they will check your blood pressure every time they see you and you will have scans every 4 weeks . I’m on 28+2 weeks and had my scan - baby is in perfect shape. No point worrying
There is not much you can do or they can do about it. Take care x

I’ve also got this. Ive not been affected by it, taken aspirin daily and told to stop at 37 weeks. I had a scan at 22 weeks to check that my placenta was working right as it can affect the placenta and how it feeds baby. Mine wasn’t affected and the midwife even said they’d never met anyone that had been affected that way. I had a scan at 32 weeks where I got told due to my low Papp-a I’m going to be induced between 39-40 weeks. They won’t let you go over full term which is a bonus x

I got this too. I'm 14 weeks and 5 days now and they've also given me aspirin to take until 36th week. My first scan is the scheduled 20 week in February but then they scheduled next ones in April May and June and I'm due in July. Like ladies above said you'll just get more monitoring of baby's growth and hope all is well. Good luck!
