My husband is the type of man who just thinks he has it worse than I do. All he does is work and pay the bills. Meanwhile, I have a job, I go to college as a graduate student, be a full time mom, remember doctor appointments on top my own doctor appointments, remember and show up for special school activities, wash clothes, wash dishes, clean up, help get kids ready and together, always remembering to give medicine, taking kids to school everyday, helping with homework, etc and so much more. I am on leave from my job right now due to health reasons. He wants to sit up and try to make it like he’s juggling a lot. Hell I AM JUGGLING ALOT. All he has to do is work and focus on a bill. I have to do a million things on top of juggle on my own shit. A lot of times I become stressed, irritable, angry, and defeated because nobody from family helps. He doesn’t even make sure I have a day to myself or at least wash clothes or do anything helpful towards me but I’m always helping his ass out. When it’s time to go to my doctor appointments, I always have to lug my toddler with me every time because she’s not in daycare nor do I have a babysitter. I don’t ever have no time to myself to focus. I’m helping him out way too much. He can work overtime and does as he pleases while I am struggling mentally, emotionally, and physically. I am fucking exhausted. I’ve been a full time mother, wife, student, employee for years with no real breaks. I literally had my kids back to back while still pursuing my degree and graduated, still being a full time mother ripping and running them to daycare and picking them up on my own. I’ve done so much shit that it should never be overlooked so when he gets to trying to compare himself to me… I SEE NO COMPARISON. My role is way worse!!!

unfortunately most men are raised to be able to handle physical stress not mental stress

I can relate if u wanna chat hmu

Sounds common.. I'm sorry you too have to deal with it though. I work from home almost every day with maybe having a couple days off a month on top of being home with our 10month old daily I take care of housework and the other kids (2 of which are my stepkids only 1 other bio) I have 0 time to myself unless I literally tell my husband I'll get our daughter from school and it's just to her school..maybe 10mins & I leave him home with our son but even at night I get no time

Please take a moment for yourself momma. You will explode, if you haven’t done so already. I recognize the work you do. You do a lot! Thank you for the work you do on top of the work you have to do for yourself. Please seek therapy, I know your time is thin. Someone else may help you see things or make decisions you need to make for you. I’m not just saying this, I’m living it.
Also, outsource. If you can afford to drop that laundry off and let someone else wash/dry/fold do it! If you can get someone to come through and do a deep clean once a month, do it! You shouldn’t have to, but if it will give you time to breathe please do it. Also, utilize technology to assist you. Order groceries. Get subscriptions from Amazon for things you use all the time.
I know it’s hard to set boundaries in relationships when the boundaries have gotten so out of whack. Implement little things here and there.
We have to let them know helping out is not an option it’s mandatory.
Love to you 💕
