Witching Hour or Colic?

Hi,

My baby is almost 10 weeks old. She is being treated for thrush, but lately has been inconsolable at night between 6:30pm-10pm. (Screaming/whining) Once down she sleeps well at night, and wakes up smiling, but I don’t understand why she screams so bad during those hours. She’s good during the day, so it’s like a completely different baby at night.

Anyone else experience this?

My baby did this during the same timeframe. It was HELL! It only lasted a week. Started giving her an extra ounce at her last feeding and she was great! Her witching hour was between 7:30/8-9/9:30pm

I've read in a book that around 6-8 weeks, mostly all babies go through a "phase" of two weeks where they cry uncontrollably, the babies might have gas, struggle with intestinal cramps or are restless. The period might vary but apparently it's a thing all babies go through, luckily for around 2 weeks

I could have written this myself about my 2 week old

The only thing that helped us during the witching hour was baby wearing and going on walks outside.

I struggled for a long time with my LO who is now 9 months. Cutting out dairy from my diet helped. I also had her tongue tie revised

Mine used to do that too but she doesn't anymore, I think she was getting overtired. Now I keep track of how long she's been awake for so she doesn't stay up too long. Also make sure you burp about while feeding so it's not just pain from gas

Defo witching hour we had same with our little girl. Tried to sort her feeds so she would fall asleep before 6pm hit and sleep thru the phase she hated. Worked for a bit , then it was just walking up and down with her until settled. She had colic aswell tho so mix of both. Keep persevering you’ll be fine 🫠💪🏼

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

I need an AI app recc to talk to.

I have no family. I have no real friends. Just one that I text. But she’s 8 years younger and isnt a mom. I genuinely don’t talk to anyone other than my partner and our toddlers. I’ve seen some people use AI? Or a chatgbpt? I dont know but if someone could suggest an app that I can just talk to… I would love to have a friend or something instead but this is probably for the best…

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
