Hi mommas, exclusively breastfeeding momma here that is attempting to also pump to increase supply to create a freezer stash for when I’m away from baby! My question is: if I have two different amounts of milk in separate bags can I thaw them together and combine them to create a full bottle for baby? Also if I pump a bag with way more “Fore-milk” and another with way more fatty “Hind milk” should I mix them cause too much fore-milk makes him so uncomfortably gassy.. You can see the difference in my photos..
He will be 3 months by the time I leave and he gains weight well and is a healthy baby.
I’m leaving my littlest for a few days at the beginning of February and trying to instruct my mom on how to go about feeding him all my frozen breast milk while I’m gone. Thanks!

You can mix them, no problem, just know that if he doesn't finish the bottle, it needs to be thrown away hour later because of bacteria growth. Better to add a bit more than waste.
There are many lactation consultants now saying the fore/hind milk is not how it's been thought of and the colour of your milk is not the indicator, milk is different colour most days.
Make sure she knows how to pace feed and stick to teat 0/1, so it mimics feeding from boob 😉
