What does everyone do to teach their LO not to throw food on the floor.
We don't force food on him but some days he will tell us he's done then other days he will litrally look me in the eye as he throws the food on the floor as if in an act of defiance 😆🤣 I don't shout at him because I don't want it to become a thing but I don't know what to do to stop it from happening. When he's full or had enough, that's OK. Is this just a thing we have to ride out? TIA x

We started giving baby a “no thank you bowl”. We asked her that if there was anything she didn’t like, to put it in there instead of on the floor. It took a while for it to sink in completely, but it really helped x

such a great idea. I gave up and just let her happily throw it everywhere 🤣😫. She's finally grown out of it and neatly places it toward the left side of her tray now. Great tip. Xx

We do something similar. We noticed she started putting her cup on the table (in front of her high chair) and saying "put it back" so when we see she's getting disinterested in whatever she's eating we ask her if she wants to put it back. Works 2 out of 5 times but you have to start somewhere, right? :)

That's amazing. Great tip thankyou! I'll definitely give this a try! Even if it works 2 out of 5 🤣 thankyou both c

My LG didn’t do it very often but when she did we just explained we do not throw food and she eventually stopped xx
