Words of encouragement needed

I’m so overwhelmed. Overstimulated, overtouched. My EBF 12 week old only wants me, won’t go to anyone for longer than 10-15 min, hates lying down, won’t sit in the boppy, hates being put down in general, hates being worn in the baby carrier, just wants to sit in my arms 24/7 or she’ll literally cry for hours until I pick her up. And I’m talking pausing to catch her breath screams that get cps called on you because it sounds like you’re killing the child. It’s driving me insane. I love my baby, would never hurt her and it breaks my heart to hear her so in distress but I’m literally so f*cking overwhelmed and burnt out - I don’t think I can do this again. Can’t eat without holding her, can’t shower without her screaming the whole time, can’t use the bathroom, literally just holding a baby all day or breastfeeding all day. And I think she may now be teething so it’s all of this times ten now. Please send words of encouragement.

im sorry mama I know what you are going through. Im sure itll get better hang in there 🥹 Theres days when my girl is the same now that shes almost 4 months she will stay on her play mat or swing for a bit longer but there used to be a time when she just wanted to be held. I think as they get older they are able to distract themselves more.
You’re doing good and youre a good mom 🥹🥰

You’re a good Mama, baby girl sounds so loved. Remember this is a temporary season that’ll pass. It’s okay to not enjoy every season of motherhood or to not miss this part of it. Keep doing what you’re doing, baby girl will remember always being loved.

thank you so much fit the compliment 🥺 it’s so encouraging to know that she’ll find other things that interest her once she gets a little older.

aww thank you, Magen. Making her feel loved is my ultimate goal. And I literally thought to myself earlier “I won’t miss this part of the newborn phase at all” so thank you for that reassurance as well as your kind words 💛

You got this momma!! I think October baby girls only want there mommas because my little one is the same with me I just try too hold her as much as possible and cuddle! Your little girl definitely appreciates you so much giving her the best love a mom could ever give! ❤️

I went through that at 10-12 weeks too. I pulled out noise cancelling earmuffs to dampen the sound so that I was able to continue caring for her while reducing the noise stimulation. I didn’t find out what actually caused the problem but I will say the noise cancelling earmuffs helped with my sanity.

Just hold on a bit longer mama..... She will soon make a turn for the better. You are the best mom and she knows it. My son is 6 months and he was the same way. Now he likes other ppl and goes to others. Breath.... Think happy thoughts... Sing a song .... Have a snack!! It gets better.

My baby was the same way and I don’t know if youve considered a bottle but it makes a worlds difference in my house. Pumping and bottle feeding so you both get that break and if that doesn’t work try mixing with formula. I cried the moment he had his first formula bottle but caring for you is also caring for them. Keep strong nothing last forever ❤️

did it get better? this is where i’m at now pretty much with my 8 week old that i went to search a post on it lol

lol it honestly got sooo much better! My baby will be 5 months old next Friday and she now entertains herself and plays independently while I get things done. Not gonna lie, I leaned into screen time to distract her when I need to shower, eat, etc. and I also paid attention to her interests so I can do my own thing while she’s occupied. She still has her moments where she wants to be held/soothed by only me of course but it’s no where near how it used to be. Hang in there love - 8 weeks is totally normal for a baby to only want their mama.

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7
