Has anyone use the owlet before? Been thinking about buying one for baby #3 don’t know to much about. Don’t think it was a thing when I had my boys

I found the anklet annoying to deal with so I didn’t use it. I may try again though with the next one cause watching 2 at once scares me. But honestly if you sleep next to you baby then that’s the best way to keep an eye on them to get through the SIDS risky stage. The camera I still use but I’m not thrilled with it. It doesn’t record anything. I ended up getting a google camera too.

I loved our owlet. We had a very scary incident with our son right after he was born and it gave us so much peace of mind

Mine was constantly disconnecting which drove me crazy. I felt like it took longer for the app to connect then to just go and quietly check on my son.

We have one but I’d rate it 4/10 the newer ones might be better though, we have the generation before the newest one

We love our owlet. Gave us a peace of mind.

I had post partum anxiety and hated my owlet the first 3 months we tried again after my hormones balanced. Honestly it’s not the best but does give me peace of mind now. When sick we could monitor his avg oxygen levels and it also lets us know when the best time to move him after he falls asleep on me. Now the only thing we have trouble with is the app slow opening when we need to check on him cause of the rolling.

The owlet sock also doesn’t work in long ranges. We have a 44ft long house and it loses connection from his room one end of the house to the living room other side of the house

You can use the app for longer distances.

yes I use it with the sitters all the time on date night. Just not the sock apparently. Little spy cam

We were given a medical pulse oximeter when we left the hospital with our special needs son but it kept going off and was horrible. We got the Owlet and never had issues. It grows with the child because it has different sizes it comes with. When our kids had RSV last year, I put it on them and had peace of mind. Because of it, we took our son to the hospital to get supplemental oxygen. After a few days he went home and they gave him an oxygen machine to take home for nighttime. Right after he was done, our daughter needed it and we were able to know how much oxygen to give with those measurements and we avoided a hospital stay! We got ours lightly used on Marketplace and after this next baby, we can pass it on. Great investment.

Also, you need to put the sock on snugly. That might be why others were having issues with it going off.

Loved it BUT I heard there were updates? Can anyone speak to that!?

I have the original one and didn’t update it, it helped me sleep better at night. I will be using for baby #2!
