Second c section

I now have two under two.
I get out of the hospital tomorrow and i have a very active clingy 15 month old. What steps and i do to heel faster. Not that I'm trying to rush it i just hate the pain I'm in.

Unfortunately it's just taking it easy. Don't pick up your 15 month old at all, go for very short walks when you can. But main thing is honestly resting and giving your body time to heal. The less you do to agitate the area the faster it will heal. If you try to jump back into it all too quickly it won't heal properly and you'll extend your healing. And keep on top of your pain meds. Take them on time.

I have the opposite opinion of Jessica on pain meds, I stopped all my meds by day 4. I have a natural high pain tolerance but also I needed to know when my body was being pushed too hard and you can’t do that when those pain receptors are being tricked. Rest but be as active as you are capable of being. I was shopping/cleaning/cooking with no issues by day 5 but took breaks as needed. Everyone heals at a different pace, trust your body and don’t overdo it.

I will be in the same situation in 2 weeks , my daughter is 14months and baby will be here 29th.
I’m planning on resting and walking for first couple weeks while partners home and hoping I heal fast as it’s heartbreaking that she won’t understand why I can’t pick her up ect.
Hopefully it’s easier than we think 🤍

Key to healing is movement, don’t sit around all day. Move as little and often as you can. I was told to walk every day from discharge and recovered very fast. I was at Costco shopping day 5.

Just don’t lift your toddler. Sit on the sofa and have them come cuddle you up there.

Take your meds on time religiously so you get no pain breakthrough. Drink plenty of water too.

Congratulations btw!! X

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
