My little boy is 8 weeks old, and at 6 weeks he was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. Since then he’s been super snotty and won’t sleep in his crib, so I was going to let him sleep next to me for a couple of days.
I am super aware how dangerous this is and I really want him to sleep in his cot but i don’t know how to start it up again as he is so used to sleeping next to me.
I feel terrible confusing him like I have but I know I need to do it for safety. Does anyone have any tips on getting them to sleep on their own?

We bedshare too. Love it and so does Lily. If yiu are doing it safely than it's not actually more dangerous than crib sleep. Have a look at the safe sleep 7 rules. Or in Instagram happycosleeper and cosleepy for advice. There's also fb groups with advice I'm in uk co-sleepers and happy co sleepers. 😀
I’m so glad it’s not just me. We’re both so much happier bed sharing and i have all the necessary precautions in place! does your little one sleep on their own in the day?

My daughter mainly sleeps in the bed with me and my husband. As discussed above if your doing it safely don’t worry about it too much. Our babies feel safe where they feel safe. My daughter still sleeps in her bassinet at times but mainly we bedshare.

We bedshare too here. Everyone sleep muuuuuuch better since we stopped forcing our baby to sleep in baby cot. Me, babh and daddy. Everyone is happier. Won't change that for the world. Do what works best for you 🤗

We have contact napped up until about 1
13m old. She just slept much better that way and once I gave myself permission to do so, it was a very nice relaxing Time, not rushing around do get stuff done etc. Now I feed her to sleep for her nap, and usually have to rush up after 1 sleep cycle and give her a little rock., so she sleeps another cycle. (Today I didn't have to though! Yay!)
