Evening primrose oil

I want to start taking them my friend said that it takes a little while for them to start working

I’m going to take them orally as they will help with my breasts when I have the baby

I used primrose oil inserts about three weeks before my youngest was born. He was the only one of my three that my water broke on its own and he was my fastest labor. Granted labor is never easy but I felt the primrose helped. It’s definitely better than being induced 🙌🏻

did you take them orally or inserted? My doc wants to induce me in 2 weeks but I don’t want to use the pitocin from the hospital.

I get that 100%, pitocin is like hitting a brick wall all at once and I’m allergic to most pain meds so it’s definitely not a fun time 😅 I inserted the capsules nightly kinda like a tampon but fair warning they melt and leak so wear a pad or period underwear for coverage. I also was drinking a cup of raspberry leaf tea a day towards the end to help with the contractions but I know that’s not for everyone. Good luck mama 🫶🏻🫶🏻
