I’ve been ep for the last 8 months and have a freezer stash to feed my baby till he’s a year and I’m wanting to be done pumping, I went from pumping 6x a day for 20 min and getting 50oz to 2-3x a day for 10 minutes and getting 20-30oz. Any tips on how to dry up my supply?

You slowly wean yourself then just stop… your supply just goes away after a while. My supply plummeted when my period came back so I wasn’t collecting as much during my weaning. But I have heard using cabbage leaves also helps dry you up.

What does ep mean?

my period came back last week which plummeted my supply but as soon as it was done my supply came back😅 I’ll have to just stick with it and maybe try cabbage leaves thank you:)

exclusively pumping

Is a big ask but before you stop please consider becoming a milk donor through the Red Cross, for babies in hospital.
Wait longer between pumps, and pump to relieve the pressure but not to completion. It's a little uncomfortable leaving some, but it mimics a weaning baby who eats less milk, and less often, as they start solid. That bit left over signals to our bodies to slow production over a number of weeks.
Don't stop cold turkey

I don’t know what the official advice is, but I just started going longer between pumps and reducing how long I pumped for until pumping sessions were dropped.
I’d then just relieve a bit of the fullness in the shower each day once I got down to 1 / no pumping sessions.

If you want to keep pumping you could always sell your breast milk

Go longer between pumping sessions and slowly make each session shorter until you are done. Going cold turkey will lead to discomfort and could lead to clogs or mastitis

Just wanted to say to GO YOU for getting that stash !!!

Go girl! I wish I could stash up like that
