Hello! My son is 5 months old and sleeps through the night. I am kind concerned about night feeding. He used to wake up at 10pm or 3am to eat now he sleeps through night and I’m worried he is not getting enough nutrients. What do you do with your bub?

We still wake our baby up at 10pm for a dream feed. Mostly because we’re trying to make sure she does make it through the night. If your son is gaining weight according to his curve and your pediatrician doesn’t have any concerns, I wouldn’t worry about it and just let him sleep!

Hes probably getting enough during the day. As long as he is gaining weight and has at least 6 wet diapers a day, let him sleep!

If he’s sleeping that good then he’s getting enough. A hungry baby won’t sleep 🩷

Don’t wake him up, unless doc is saying he’s not gaining weight like he is supposed to. He’ll let you know if he is hungry and will either eat more initially at the start of the day or eat more at each feeding throughout the day. That is what mine does.

At this age they’re totally fine to sleep through the night! If baby is taking bottles then you could add up how many oz they’re getting during the day. Should be 25 oz or more!

Thank you for all your answers. He eats 8 oz every 4 hours. But we kind of started him with oatmeal now and I noticed he is drinking less formula .
