Hang in there momma! At two weeks babies still confuse day and nights, but it does get better! What I would do with my baby is that every morning I would change him and say good morning and let the light come in the room so he can start associating that with day time. When it was bedtime I would put pjs on and make the room dark and say good night. Slowly he started adjusting 🥰

Same! My bf works nights. So I am trying to adjust with my almost 2 week year old . You’re not alone! ❤️🙏

My biggest advice make everything as lazy as possible at all times of the day if you're formula feeding look into premaking them if possible with your formula, have a stack of clothes next to you along with nappies wipes and bags to put the dirty ones in and dirty clothes so you can deal with them at a later date. And remember the house can wait when you sleep you can't see the mess so it doesn't exist so don't feel pressured to clean when baby sleeps just sleep when they sleep and have snacks and loads of water by the bed ready so you can eat while you feed them x

I promise it does get easier!

I’m doing this alone, too. I’m six weeks pp. Best advice I can give is to cry when you feel like crying, set the baby down to cry when you need to, accept help where you can get it, and talk to a mental health provider if you need to.
It does get “easier” as far as sleep patterns, but not until around three months. If you find you can’t sleep when they sleep because you are too upset, that’s a symptom of postpartum and it’s time to talk to a doctor about therapy and medicine. Don’t delay.
Hang in there.

You'll sleep again! I'm only at 5 weeks and it's still hard, but nothing like it was a few weeks ago.
During the day, I turn lights on, open windows, talk a lot to him. And when it's evening or in the middle of the night, keep lights off and don't talk to him. I try not to stimulate him in any way so he knows he's not meant to be awake. When we are giving him a bath, we always do it in the evening. The warm water helps relax him and put him to sleep after.
It'll get better. You will soon get nights where you wake up and think "what the heck? he's still sleeping!?"

Also make things as easy as possible for yourself.
We just got the dr browns sterilizer and dryer. That's a game changer to me. Drying the bottles and pump parts was soooo annoying.
We use ready to feed formula. So it's in the plastic bottles and we decant it into the bottles we feed with. Before I go to bed, I put a baby bottle and a formula bottle next to the couch where I will feed him. I put burp cloths out too.
I change him and then swaddle before feeding so when he passes out on the bottle, I don't have to wake him.
It's hard. I didn't expect it to be so hard. But anything that can help you, do!

Get baby out in the sunshine a little each day, it helps reset their internal clock. Also make sure they nap enough. Other than that unfortunately there isn't much to force. My first son woke every 2 hour to eat around the clock until 9 months. My second has been sleeping 4-5 hours stretches at night since about 3 weeks

7 weeks baby here! Swaddle is your best friend!! He hate it at the beginning but now he loves it and he sleeps so much better without waking up every hour or so, make sure to put sound machine and set the room to sleep(make it dark), I do a really warm bath too (if belly button already fell off) at the beginning I did it every other day now is every day in between feedings (belly is full baby is happy), I learn that routine is very important! I do the same thing for bedtime everyday (sometimes is hard but the sleeping result is SO worth it!) Hang in there mama! 🫶🏻

My baby was attached to my boobs almost all night. I learned how to prop myself and baby up with feeding pillow and other pillows and I would fall asleep and so would baby then he would wake up I’d switch sides. Rinse and repeat. However I am a very light sleeper so I was confident I wouldn’t roll or drop him
