My one month old never seems to sleep at least 14 hours a day. Not even close. Today is one of those days where it’s really bad. She slept maybe 2 or 3 hours last night, and maybe 2 or 3 hours today. Should I call her doctor?

I remember feeling this way. Mine is 3.5 months now and getting 14 hours… so it gets better. But always mention concerns to doctor, though I think it’s normal to feel like this

My boy was the same! I was losing my mind over wake windows because at 3 weeks old he was awake for 3-4 hours at a time and not sleeping hardly ever. You'll be pleased to know this did pass and by about 6 weeks he was sticking a bit better to his wake windows. My boy is now 15 weeks and is spot on with his wake windows and averages 13.5-14 hours sleep per 24 hours with 9-10 night time hours. It does get better! I recommend the huckleberry app for tracking sleep and it will also suggest when nap time should be from when baby is 2 months old. I hope it gets better for you soon, it's so hard!

I’m on the same boat. My son (5 weeks) hardly sleeps. He’ll average 4-5 hours at night and 2-3 during the same. We just went to his monthly check up and the doctor said it happens. To monitor his environment and pay attention to what wake him up. People keep telling me it’s going to get better.
