LO now refuses to sit in the bath and cries throughout whilst also trying to grab onto me and cuddle me. Obviously this is far from ideal and I’ve been getting soaked. My husband has even gotten in the bath and it didn’t make a difference. This has been 2 weeks of this now and it’s become worse rather than better. We’ve tried to make it fun and been super positive. This is in the main bath and now tempted to move her back to a baby bath… Any hints/tips?

Omg, this is us right now! I feel your pain. My almost 18 month old used to love the bath and recently she started hating it. Cries the whole time. I don’t have any tips, but I’m following in hopes that someone does!

My son didn’t like it when we took a bath for the first time in a week or two yes yes I know gross. But we just had to make it fun again and make sure we didn’t get water into his face. And had lots of toys and splashed. Let him have fun. Now he is back to liking it

My boy went through this phase. I stopped filling the tub up and gave him a bowl of water with some toys to play with. I would then use the shower head to wash him. Over time, I slowly started to add water back in the bath and he’s back to loving them again and not wanting to get out 🥰 good luck xx

Do they like the shower? My 14 month prefers the shower. Even if hes in a bath i try have the shower running and lots of bath toys. My kids like bath bombs too x
no, she’s quite scared of the shower. It’s only really been used for the odd rinse of shampoo if she’s got upset and impatient which probably doesn’t help
