I hate this time of year, because my mother always ask for 15 grand, anyways this year we didn’t get much due to my boyfriend being in and out of the hospital then me having my babygirl, so we pretty much didn’t work with the first half of the year, we didn’t get much we didn’t get enough to even give my mother 15,000 so I told my boyfriend just to give her 1,000 but I know she not gonna be happy about that either so idk what to do she wanted to claim both of my kids mind you she been claiming my oldest for the past three years and yes I been working all that time except for the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, anyways please no hate comments, I’m already upset as is.

Just out of curiosity why does she ask for that? You don’t have to answer if it’s too personal I don’t mean to offend just curious
she claims because we live here with them, and claims I don’t do nun around the house but yet I pay the bills that need to be paid for I do all the groceries shopping I clean etc
and because she feels like she can just take from us smh , she doesn’t take from my brothers just us

I’m sorry you have to deal with that she shouldn’t do that to you. I hope things get better. 💜

How come you dont get your own place? If mums asking for that much then wouldnt it be better to get your own place?
if you live in Florida you Know why, it’s too expensive to live anywhere, they want 1200 and up just for a two bed room

Everywhere you go, a nice apartment is $1,200 up.

I think $1200 is more affordable than 15 grand. Either way from what I'm reading your mom sounds like a money hungry person. God willing you guys find your own place so that you don't have to deal with that anymore.

You realize 15000 is $1250 a month? You've been paying her $1250 a month for your living accommodations and your already paying the bills on top of it. So you need to decide is $1250 a month better then accomodations you can get elsewhere nearby? I'm privileged to stay with my parents currently but I only cover some bills including groceries and I do 90% of the cooking and cleaning. It's allowing us to save up for 20% down on a house.
