My baby doesn't hate them but he doesn't like them either. Idk what to do to soothe him. I can't tell if I should be thankful or not cause I know pacis can be really hard to wean off of later on.

i wish i knew what to do to help! 😭 i found a weird type pacifier that works well for my little guy.. but besides that i know sounds, high contrast, snuggles, and sometimes just being laid down with something that smells like you. babies are weird!

I knowwww that's what everyone keeps telling me but I'm jealous of the mommies that have babies that like them because sometimes he's so grumpy and I know he's sleepy and the pacifier halfway works he will suck for a second get quiet spits it out and cries even louder and I'm like whyyy😩 and I can't swaddle anymore he's starting to roll now

what type of weird paci is this?! I need to know so I can try it lol he liked the green newborn ones you get from the hospital sort of I had to fight to get that one they don't like giving it to babies anymore at the hospital because of nipple confusion. But my nipples are tired 😩 lol

My baby doesn’t have a pacifier either…she loves when I shush or sing to her and rock her gently and walk around. That usually gets her to sleep or at least calm down after a few minutes :) yeah and breastfeeding obviously šŸ˜…

I’m pretty sure the ones they sell at the hospital they sell at Walmart don’t they or online ?

My first HATED the pacifier so I simply just never gave it to heršŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļøshe liked teething toys better, even before she had teeth. My second also hates them and he just stuffs his whole hand in his mouthšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚im still trying to find an alternative. Both my babies were/are ebf so I feel like that plays a part in it. Maybe if you can find a brand bottle your baby will take, they'll also take that brand pacifier!

Literally my finger. He won’t take a paci but he loves sucking and chewing on my finger

My son hates pacifiers and hasn’t used one in forever.. he sucks on his entire hand to soothe himself.

My daughter likes the extra nipples of her bottles. I stick my finger in the opening and let her suck until she falls asleep and remove it. But even then, it doesn’t always work and she wakes up or just doesn’t want it anymore. šŸ˜… she liked pacifiers her first few weeks and then just stopped.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😓

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😓. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
