I personally wouldn’t give my baby sausage. Quite a fatty meat and not necessary. Ham. Yes possibly but high in salt so very little amount.

There's nothing to say they can't have them, but be mindful of amounts as they're highly processed foods and very high in salt. I don't think I gave my eldest any until over 1

I give ham but just check the packet for salt content. Also just a small amount e.g. bits in egg muffins or pinwheels

I give chicken sausages (heck) and I’ve given ham, but very small pieces. I’d say like a quarter of a slice x

Babies can have anything you’re eating starting at 6 months. Just always be weary of salt content of course and give in moderation! Maple chicken sausage or turkey is our fav!

@Jackie O. Apart from honey**

@Sammie yes, most moms already know that because it’s repeated on her several times a day. Lol so I didn’t need to specify that. I was talking about sausage. I didn’t make an extensive list of ALL necessary avoidances.

How would you cut ham for baby ?

Thank you all! I was thinking a little of nice quality low salt ham in some pinwheels or little muffins or something I don’t actually eat it myself but my husband does! I know soils starts says older but thought this wasn’t uk like milk cheese etc…. Sausages I thought maybe a no or until he is a bit older but wanted to see what people think thank you!! ❤️
