Nappy leaking at the back!

Every night babies nappy is leaking at the back! Tried Tesco ones and pampers but I think it’s because she’s a girl it’s trickling down to the back and leaking once full as the front doesn’t see that full. Any suggestions?
Don’t really want to wake her for nappy change she sleeps through. 5 months

I used the Aldi Mamia nappies until she was 8 months old and had no leaks, I used pampers when she was a newborn as I got given them by family members but she leaked every single time. The Morrisons Nutmeg version are good too.

We're using boots nappies. They are the best in my opinion! We have the pull up pants, as she was leaking through the normal ones when she was about 7 months old. Now she's 17 months old and we don't have any problems with them xx

I’ve no advice but she’s such a cutie 🥰

I use morrisons 4+ but i still have to change my LG twice she sleeps for 12-14 hours at night. My LG wees alot during the night so i do change her when she has a feed. Usually she wakes but goes straight back to sleep.

I got a sample box of the mama bamboo ones and sized up for night and they actually work really well. There are quite a few posh nappy brands that you can get cheaper sample boxes for which I’ve absolutely rinsed 😂 I’ve just got a sample pack for peachies and have also tried kit and Kin but I think the mama bamboo ones were better at holding everything in (more so than pampers etc too)

Maybe size up in vests? X

We always use Sainsbury’s and no problem here

My baby sleeps for about 6-7 hours and we use huggies, haven’t had any leaks at night.

We use pampers and size up at night

Avatar

Either Sainsbury’s or Rascal and Friends because they have an elastic at the back. We use rascal and friends at nighttime and they never leaked.

Avatar

Are you using actual overnight diapers?

Avatar

We use Huggies size 3 over nights for my son. He was peeing thru his diaper every night.

We’ve had no issues with the mamia + versions

Avatar

I use huggies and they’ve never failed me! I used to have the same issue with pampers i really don’t like them

Size up x

Tried pampers initially- they leaked every time… use a mix of Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and Morrisons now and no leaks…

Get pampers overnight diapers and then add Sposie booster pads!!!! You can buy them on Amazon. They’re INCREDIBLE. Our daughter hasn’t leaked since 💗

Avatar

did that when she was having pooh explosions 🤣 worked a treat. X

We have the exact same problem! We use pampers baby dry at night size 3 and she is on the lower end of the weight for that size and they still do this! So following to see what others recommend. We used aldi in the day and this still happens 😩

Avatar

My daughter is the exact same and Sainsbury’s nappies have been an absolute game changer!!

Avatar

my son is 3 months old. Can he use this ?

Avatar

the only seem to do the protect pocket in size 3 my baby just turned 5 months usually in size 2 but going to try these in size 3 x

Gracieeee 💕

If you have an Aldi nearby try their ones, their the only ones we've used that didn't leak

Avatar

Coterie is well worth the price imo. No leaks, blowouts or diaper rash over here!

Fold the back of the nappie inwards, it stops it from coming up the back

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵
