My baby is spitting up often and I don’t know if it’s a normal thing or a bad thing because she doesn’t look like she’s sick when she spits up it just happens but it be thick and white and lately she’s been doing it at least four or six times after a feed is anyone else experiencing their little one spitting up a lot or often and when should it be a red flag to tell the pediatrician?
Any remedies or suggestions let me know. Thanks.

Well I definitely think you should go to a pediatrician! My 4 month old spit up everytime after feed him especially when he's burped but he never did it more than twice!!! And it could just be colic or that they are fed too much!!! So don't overly stress
I already told my pediatrician at her last appointment and she said spitting up as normal. But I feel like I know better if she’s doing it repeatedly

Okay if you feel like something is wrong but your pediatrician doesn't listen to your concerns and just tells you it's fine and normal get a new one!!! But spitting up after every feed is completely normal!!! How many times does she burp after each feed?

My boy goes through phases where he won’t spit up at all the entire day and then the next day it will be on and off all day long! When he was really new he spit up constantly and it drove me nuts! I think as they are going through some changes they will start doing different things on and off. Honestly, if she’s eating enough and is still a happy baby I wouldn’t be too concerned just yet. If you feed her while she’s sitting up maybe try and lay her down a bit? My ped also suggested holding the bottle out more straight as well!? I usually would wait for him to digest a little and then burp him and still hold him up right for a little bit too.

Mine goes through phases as well where some days he barely spits up and some days we’re changing outfits so many times because we’re both covered. It’s normal. Try to remember that it looks like so much but it’s usually about a tablespoon or even sometimes a teaspoon of spit up compared to however many oz they are taking so it’s not a significant amount, just feels like it

Ditto to and . We are also in a particularly bad phase atm, lots of wardrobe changes around here. We’ve talked a lot to the ped about it and she’s reassured us that as long as it’s not forceful vomiting, no signs of dehydration, and he continues to gain weight we shouldn’t be concerned
she burps at least once or twice after each feed. She’s 4 months and always want anywhere between 7 ounces to 8 ounces of milk each feed anything less she’ll start crying hysterically and I don’t burp her while she feeds because if I take the bottle away away from her mouth she’ll start crying too
thank you for this !🙏

My baby spits/throws up constantly but as long as she gains weight it’s not a huge issues. She’s on Pepcid (prescribed by Dr) also you can try gripe water from pharmacy otc
